SciFi Channel UK http://www.scifi.co.uk has a 3 day Bank Holiday weekend marathon of classic Doctor Who (23 to 25 August) coming up, which implies a new home for Classic Doctor Who in the UK as autumn approaches.
SciFi Channel Netherlands http://www.scifi-tv.nl has obtained the first run rights to Series 3 of Doctor Who for the Netherlands. A 2 episode premiere with the 1965 Peter Cushing Dalek movie begin airing on the channel on 16 September, with many same week repeats. 1 episode per week thereafter. Series 2 premiered on Nederland 2.
Does anybody know the status of the channel Jimmy in Italy? There are
some reports that the channel may be ceasing to exist in September,
which would be before they finish the current premiere run of Doctor
Who (Series 3) and Torchwood (Series 2). Is the channel going away?
If so, where are the programmes going?
Torchwood schedule information is included in the Torchwood This Week
column http://groups.yahoo.com/group/torchwood . Of note - the radio
episode Lost Souls will air on BBC Radio 4 on 10 September.

programming to cable providers (no deals with satellite companies
yet). If your digital cable service has Illusion TV, all programming
is offered for free with commercials. See the website to determine if
your provider may offer this service. Based on the paucity of
information on the episodes airing, I guess they want you to get the
service before you know what you will be seeing.

Jim Iaccino and Kenn Gold look at the latest SciFi broadcasts in the
US, with emphasis on fitting in Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica,
and - right now - The Middleman. Everything is based on US premiere
dates rather than UK. Approximately 90 minutes per episode. Show airs

Tin Dog Podcast http://www.tin-dog.co.uk
Weekly UK based podcast looking at the latest in Doctor Who,
Torchwood, or Sarah Jane Adventures. New episodes ever 2 weeks or so.
Current episode - #67 - The first 4 episodes of Trial Of A Time Lord
(The Mysterious Planet) are explored, in the runup to the DVD
release. At the time this episode came out, The Trial Of A Time Lord
was due for UK DVD release in August 2008 and the next 3 podcasts
would also cover aspects of this season long saga. Trial has now been
postponed till October, a point that will presumably be mentioned in
Tin Dog #68.
Tin Dog #68 expected out before 23 August.

West, Dave AC, Colin, and other Doctor Who fans liked the live Doctor
Who: Podshocks so much that they wanted to keep talking afterwards.
The resulting show covers Doctor Who, anything else sci-fi related,
and can go wildly off in all directions.
August 10 episode - Doctor Who actors in other roles. The longest
episode in CIA history, at roughly 2 hours, 14 minutes - which is a
shock, as I wasn't around to jabber a bit and slow things down.
Sunday 1:45PM EDT (10:45AM PDT, 6:45PM BST) - CIA really knows where
its towel is. I will probably not show up, due to my birthday.
24 August 1:45PM EDT (10:45AM PDT, 6:45PM BST) - CIA discovers Anime!
31 August 1:45PM EDT (10:45AM PDT, 6:45PM BST) - Convention reports???
Radio Free Skaro http://radiofreeskaro.wordpress.com
The 3 Canadians get together on Sundays for about an hour or two or
more to discuss the latest in Doctor Who, Torchwood, and Sarah Jane
in a fairly amusing manner. Temporarily doing commentary on classic
Who stories courtesy of their Randomiser.
Current episode - #95 - Commentary on The Five Doctors (standard
edition). DVD players behave better this time, as the Canadians look
at this 90 minute story and all the Who news while ruminating on
nearly setting the podcast length record in episode 94 and still got
home in under 2 hours.
Sunday or Monday - #96 - Commentary on The Claws Of Axos, as the
Sarah Jane Adventures sneak slowly up on the 3 Canadians.

Cliff And Stephanie's Doctor Who Fan Podcast http://www.gspn.tv
Current episode - 11 - Review of Partners In Crime (August 1, 2008)
Cliff and Stephanie Ravenscraft review Doctor Who episodes on a
weekly basis. Start of new installments as they review Series 4,
skipping Voyage Of The Damned for now and focusing on the
Doctor/Donna episodes.
GSPN.tv is a network of podcasts on TV shows, daily life, religion,
and other issues that interest the 3 Ravenscrafts. Doctor Who Fan
Podcast becomes one of the pay programs in the network starting with
episode 12. The existing paying audience ranked Doctor Who dead last
in their interests (annoying the hosts who want to do the show but
are living off the revenue from their podcasts). If you subscribe to
their podcasts in order to hear the new Doctor Who episodes, be sure
to alert them that you are doing this.
